Milad Mansouri is an Iranian writer, director, and producer whose films have been selected by over 35 international festivals and honored with more than 15 awards across four continents.

Born on September 25, 1990, and trained in filmmaking at the University of Applied Sciences (Unit 38), Milad entered the industry as an actor in 2009 before finding his voice behind the camera. His debut feature, Kulbarf (2019), was made at age 29 on a modest budget — and went on to win Best Director, Best Film, and over ten further awards at international festivals, with more than 35 selections worldwide.

After working as assistant director on several prominent Iranian TV series alongside renowned directors, Milad created the Instagram series "Exit", which developed its own dedicated audience — demonstrating his instinct for story across different formats.

Since then, he has built a bridge between Iranian and European cinema through co-productions with Italian producers, British and Argentine actors, and crews across multiple countries. He currently serves as Creative Director of the AmiCorti International Film Festival A.P.S. — the only official representative of the festival in Iran — and is based in Italy.

His films are defined by a commitment to humanist storytelling: the Kurdish porter, the traumatized woman, the isolated soldier. He amplifies voices that institutional cinema too often ignores.
